AMANN & THE WAYWARD SONS is a rock band based in Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain. Founded by songwriter Pablo (Slocum) Amann in 2016. 
"Inspiration is the result of a combination of life and musical experience, and there is a point when you need to take that step forward" states Pablo Amann.
After a number of years collecting and arranging his repertoire, a first self-released album entitled "FREE SOUL" was delivered in 2018, produced by Amando Gottardi and Emiliano Bares (both of them members of the band) and was mixed and mastered at Abbey Road (UK).
After a successful year of touring around Spain that even took them to play at the prestigious BBK MUSIC LEGENDS FESTIVAL, among such artists as BEN HARPER, THE BEACH BOYS, LITTLE STEVEN or WATERMELOS SLIM, the entire band shut in TIO PETE STUDIO to record second album DRIVE HOME, produced by Emi Bares and released on Sep 2019.
The harsh reality caused by Covid-19 pandemic, forced the cancellation of all concerts scheduled, and brought a halt to the band´s meteoric progress. Far from giving in, Pablo has devoted his time to writting new music and "Feel it in my bones" and "Under Pouring Rain" singles, produced by Emi Bares, have been just released as a preview of a new album coming during 2021.
